Statement of intention

My intention of my game I will create a female character who isn’t objectified like most games. It will be set in the jungle where she runs away from a group of criminals .The cover will be a girl dressed with camouflage bottoms and a black top with survival gear. In the background there will add a jungle setting and the main character right in the centre with her pet tiger who she befriends along her travel/hiding. The games aim is survival from running away from the group of men.

Statement of intent – Games cover

The game I have created is a first-person role-playing game, where the video game player has complete control over the storyline of the game.

The basic premise of the game is:

After a disastrous misunderstanding with the police, Andre Baker has to flee his hometown as a fugitive. The decisions and paths he takes whilst on the run are completely up to the game player, and there are hundreds of potential endings / paths which Andre could go down, contingent on the decisions the player makes. One storyline could feature Andre becoming a hardened criminal, whereas another could feature Andre turning himself in and facing the potentially serious charges posed against him in a court case.

My target audience will be men and women aged 15-30 , who are looking for a realistic, thought-provoking playing experience which focus’ on real-world issues such as racism and police brutality. By making the main character a minority, you give non – straight, white, male gamers a more relatable player to play with. Also, it allows the makers of the game to explore more unique storylines. This would be considered a radical approach because the main characters of video games are usually straight, white, men.

The dominant signifier is a car. I made this my dominant signifier, because a car symbolises ‘freedom’ which is the title of my video game. The colour palette of my video game cover will mostly consist of blue’s and blacks

statement of games cover

For my games cover I am going to create a female character with a racing car as the story behind the game is that the she has to win the races in order to earn the money to save her father from the terrorists that have placed a bet on her to win the races.

For my front cover the female character will be wearing black track suit bottoms with a black tight tank top. My female character isn’t very revealing but intends to show off her skills and look interesting enough. The racing car is a Lada looking all black with blue lights coming from the outside.

My title for my games cover will be succeed to live.

statement of intent

The intention of my video game cover will be to include a large title, alongside eye – catching images of which invite the player to become interested in playing my game. With a brief description on the back of the cover, players will have an insight into the excitement my game holds. My character is a female, of whom embarks on adventure through the treacherous rainforest in order to retrieve the lost treasure. Through using a female character I am avoiding a reactionary portrayal, whether this is through her clothing or actions.

Game box: sTATEMENT OF INTENT

My intention for the games cover will be about something in the genre of a first-person shooter type game. I will make a main character to be represented for the game and will make a front-page cover, the age limit, company name and what console the game will be compatible with. It will also have a back page to show what’s the game looks like and what the story and whole game is all about.

Statement of Intent

I intend to create a video game box inlay product for a dystopian future style game. It will be set in the fictional world of ‘Blade Runner’.

The main image on the cover will have both a male and a female character (original characters) wearing practical clothing and holding blasters. There will be a futuristic city in the background and some flying cars that are in the film. The colour scheme will use dark colours to show the depressing state the world has become and the game will be rated 16 due to violence. The title ‘Blade Runners’ will be just below the centre.

games cover statement of intent

I intend on creating a video game box based on the film Ghost Busters.

The main image will be a woman with the vacuum thing that sucks up the ghosts ready to attack. I will also have the female version of the male to show two different perspectives on the game. The background of the game will be around the houses of parliament in London to show possible players the widescale ideas of ground they have to cover to complete the game.

I intend on calling the game Busters of the ghosts as its a twist on the film Ghost busters therefore audiences can grasp the concept of what the game is actually about.

On the back of the games cover my main character will be in many different locations to show to potential buyers where a bouts you can play within the game and show different maps and weathers.

I will have the games company and the type of games box you can use for it, for example mine will be an Xbox one. Also ill have an age restriction clearly shown on all sides of the cover to emphasise to buyers that you have to be this certain age to play this game as it may include flashing lights and graphic images and isn’t suitable for younger children.

Games cover statement of intent

I intend to create a games cover similar to the ones of games that I enjoy i.e., Destiny 2. I wish to create my own character to show off on the front with an original title. I want to create a back cover similar to those of other games with information and pictures to show buyers what the games will be about. I intend to have the main character as an iconic sign in the middle of the front cover with a bold title to catch the eye and set an atmosphere for the game, and have some images on the back with a small blurb to describe the game. I intend to represent both radical and reactionary views through different versions of the same games case – one where the protagonist is a man and one where the protagonist is a woman. The company creating my game would be bungie and the audience would be similar to that of destiny 2 as my game would be a sequel.
