Ok this was the first week back at school, so regular programming back on air – many thanks to Logan and Arthur for a masterful look at the Aphex Twins Ambient Part 1 🙌 as well as regular high quality spots from Dr Sean, Dr M, Traci OD, Julia B. Year 12 hopefully back in to the swing of things next week. However, big thanks to Roisin, Misty and Jake for helping out with the new batch of Radio Lab experiments, its’ looking like there will be possibly 4 new programmes to emerge from this Enrichment exercise.
In other news, we have a new mixing desk! (many thanks to Mr Falle). We are making plans to re-design and possibly expand the radio area. We are also looking to make some cleaner connections with the street output, the TV studio and control room.
The station almost broadcast the whole weekend! Just dropped out on Sunday evening, so hopefully Stacey from IT will help us out this issue so we can broadcast 24/7, it is very important to be able to broadcast over the weekend as this is when many parents (and students) will be able to listen back to their work.
So yep! A good week and many thanks to all of those who are involved. Podcast stats (found here on our Soundcloud Channel) are good with Dr Mike up there in the lead with 6 Discs with James Bailey – 23 plays and 2 likes.
