When inverting your colous, you can either invert a colour image or a black and white image. The two results can be seen below.
This example has been completed using a portrait photo. Sometimes inverting a portrait photo can look too over the top- it is perhaps better on more abstract images.
- With your photo open in photoshop, simply go to Image > Adjustments> Invert
