Saint Malo is a port city in Brittany, in France’s northwest. Tall granite walls surround the old town, which was once a stronghold for privateers (pirates approved by the king). The Saint-Malo Cathedral, in the centre of the old town, is built in Romanesque and Gothic styles and features stained-glass windows depicting city history.

My photoshoot

These are some of my photos I have taken from our school trip to St Malo. I have changed the photo to be monochrome therefore they are all uniform, however in some photos I have made it double exposed to make the photo more interesting and in some other photos I have made it black and white but I’ve brought out one colour. By doing this is brings out the main focus of the photos and singles it out from the background. in some of my photos I changed the lighting and contrast so there would be a better black and white tone.
