This photo shoot was inspired by Justine Kurland and her girls pictures, these photos are my interpretations to her photos.

My interpretation of these photos are similar to Kurlands photos because in her photo and my photo no one is looking at the camera which enforces the ideologies around women and stereotypes that women are shy, on the other hand my photo is different to Kurlands due to the physical touch which again digs into the stereotype that women need and crave physical touch to feel a connection which is shown in my image.

The differences between mine and Justine Kurlands work within these two photos is that all the women in her photo are all facing forward or sideways compared to mine they all have there backs towards the photo.

Within these two photos i believe this shows the unison of females and the connection that we all have with my photo this is shown by the braiding of the hair which everyone is doing linking them all together, in Justine Kurlands photos the connection is show but a girl placing a leech on the other girls back, a place where she cant reach.
