  1. Aimee, It’s great that you are experimenting with your images in post-production demonstrating creativity. But the key to success is to select a method, technique or process that is relevant to your project.

    The strength of your images are the accumulation of images made daily as a response to documenting your personal and family experience of coronavirus and isolation. Your narrative will be constructed using a careful sequencing of images and very little manipulation is needed apart from adjusting images, such a cropping, colour corrections and perhaps also considering some as monochrome to change the aesthetics or temporal shift in your story (ie b&w = past, present, colour = present or vice versa)

    For me the typology experiment works best as it simulate arranging your images is a sequence. It may be useful to use a couple of typologies such as these in your book layout as a mini-narrative within the meta-narrative of the book.

    Continue to explore sequencing, juxtapostuion, grids etc.
