Urban Photoshoot 2
These are my top 9 images from this shoot, and will edit a few of these with my first urban shoot
My Final Outcome
I chose this image as my favourite due to the contrast in colours and the tonal range which was effectively achieved. I also liked the the glare of the sunlight coming through the tree as it makes the tree look angelic and really represents the ideas of romanticism. Through the means of editing I managed to achieve this effect which although adds contrast to the image it still shows the natural beauty and the skill in the image itself. I really wanted to show that nature is not just about the colour “green” but its about all of the shapes and detail that nature gives us.
This is some of the work from Micheal Kenna which inspired me to take this image, as you can see here sue to the extra trees around the image it allows for the different shades of the trees and leaves to stand out and flourish in these photographs.

Editing process
new Topography
Contact sheet – Highlands
New topography – Highlands
urban landscapes shoot- highlands
Here are the contacts sheets, from the urban photoshoot we did as a class. I took photographs, on total manual. I changed the ISO, white balance, shutter speed and aperture.
URBAN LANDSCAPES/ THE NEW TOPOGRAPHICS SHOOT
We took these images around the Highlands area, capturing images of Urban areas that explore non -conventional landscapes of man-made scenes. We used full automatic mode on the camera, which meant we had to continuously adjust the shutter speed to ensure our photos were the correct exposure in each image as the lighting changed.
