What is a Contact Sheet?

A contact sheet contains thumbnail images of all the photos in a shoot. This makes it very easy for both the photographer and his/her viewers to look at the photos that you have taken. This is useful for the photographer to select the images that they prefer in a shoot. Contact Sheets can be included in a photographer’s project to make it more professional.

How to make a Contact Sheet?

  1. Open Adobe Bridge and choose the images that you want to make a contact sheet with
  2. Go to Tools, Photoshop and Contact Sheet II
  3. Unselect Font and Choose the number of columns and rows that you want your photos to be arranged in
  4. Click ‘OK’ and save your contact sheet as a JPEG
