For my front cover of the magazine, I intend to create the theme of beauty as my main style to attract fashion icons and women-middle aged/teens. This will consist of a gorgeous women posing for a magazine. I aim for these factors to appeal to any genders as beauty is embraced into everyday life. Beauty is known to be most popular styles amongst magazine readers, therefore beauty is applicable to anyone. I aim to promote my front cover in the style of the gentle woman magazine as named “angry women”. Hopefully not relating to stereotypes. The target audience I would like to direct my front cover to is women-middle aged/teens mainly being aimed for females. I have chosen this age range due to the style and type of magazine related to teens or middle ages women even though it is there for everyone. I want this magazine to make everyone feel targeted towards them. I have chosen the gentle women magazine as my style model (myself) because of femininity and the certain way I am in the photo, clothes, pose and how it shows us me a female and represents us as females.

I would like my title to be in front of my model because my company would need to be well known towards the audience, I I would like her to have confidence and self-empowerment. This opposes the theory of ‘the male gaze’ by Laura Mulvey, claiming women are represented as objects that fulfil men’s pleasures of looking etc. However, I would like my model to challenge this theory by looking directly towards the audience . I intend to make my model display piercing eyes towards my audience. I would like the model to look beautiful in nice clothes with nice makeup on and nice hair so hopefully it will attract my target audience.
