both the missing and witnesses finish the episode with a cliffhanger, e.g in the missing Baptiste saying he doesn’t think the girl who returned home was Alice Webster and in witnesses it ends with a blurry figure who was shooting at Paul and you don’t know who it is
the missing contains flashback scenes the narrative does not follow a linear scale whereas witnesses is in chronological order
