APPROPRIATION– is the adoption of elements of one culture by members of another culture
CULTURAL HEGEMONY – domination or rule maintained through ideological or cultural means
THE PUBLIC SPHERE (HABERMAS)– A place where the public can come together and discuss opinions freely
