REFLECTION & EVALUATION

It is important to upload work to the blog because it allows you to look at the choices that other students have made. Please be aware that this is a particular form of learning, one in which none of us know what we are going to do – so don’t be scared of experimenting, changing, adapting, re-working. It is as much about the PROCESS as it is about the final outcome. Therefore:

1 Make sure your initial ideas are posted onto the blog. Look at the choices that other people have made. THINK, REFLECT, EVALUATE. Please be encouraged to change your mind 🤔 – adapt, alter, edit, review, reflect, and re-do, re-imagine, re-make. This CYCLICAL PROCESS is very important.

2 You now need to start thinking about your own work. Essentially you will need PLACES & PEOPLE – this will be difficult, so make good decisions early. Make sure your decisions are REALISTIC AND ACHIEVABLE, think about access – will the people and places you choose be accessible to you? Working with people is notoriously difficult so choose people who want to be and can be in your work – make sure you talk your ideas through with them, if they are not interested in helping you, find somebody who is.
