i have chosen to focus my gaming magazine cover around a single character upon a given background, with the main headline dedicated to a full feature article on (and news coverage of) that character’s game. feature promotions and adverts and offers occupy the far left and the bottom of the publication, with a big title taking up the top third.

Media Audiences: Audience Profiling Task

Start by finding a suitable picture of a person (from stock images on the internet) then construct a fictitious audience profile for a consumer outlining basic demographic features e.g. age, location, race, gender, occupation and mention hobbies, newspaper/magazine readership, favourite Films and TV programmes , music and preferred consumer brands.

Next identify which NRS category, Psychographic Group and  New Class type they belong to and justify why they fit this group by matching their lifestyle preferences and characteristics to the profile for each categorisation.

my plan for this new magazine cover with original characters, and ideas. Was too; first lay out the order of sub headings, titles, adverts, price and photos to compliment the front page. I chose this layout because isn’t overpowered with adverts, and isn’t too plain without any sub headings or photos.
For the “gaming photos + characters” I am planning on creating my own characters, of a game I will create. the style of these characters will look cartoony almost like the video game “cup heads”.
