In “2001 A Space Odyssey” it features a graphic cut, where there is a scene of a bone being thrown into the air and it cuts to a scene of the outside of the space station.

J Cut – when the audio from a scene or shot overlaps onto the next scene or shot.

L Cut – when the audio from the preceding scene continues to play over the footage from the following scene.

I would give this movie a 9/10, the most memorable scene for me is the juxtaposition of how Fletcher talks to Andrew before he goes into class and then as soon as he’s in it he proceeds to mock him and use what he learnt about him against him.

I give this movie a 9/10. The most memorable scene for me was the opening shot as the opening credits come on screen as it shows how isolated the hotel is from the rest of the world and creates a tone carried throughout the movie.

Overall I think this film was an 8/10. A memorable scene for me was when Deckard got brought into the police station and the world was explained.
