Reflection: I found this task slightly challenging as I wasn’t comfortable with the layout of a screenplay. However, I found it allowed me to be quite creative with the world building by creating the dystopian image through the setting.

Reflection: I found this task slightly challenging as I wasn’t comfortable with the layout of a screenplay. However, I found it allowed me to be quite creative with the world building by creating the dystopian image through the setting.
Difficulty:
Not having the whole script made it difficult to describe things such as the buildings as we don’t know whether it is in a nice or bad part of the town.
It difficult to work in pairs due to individual differences.
What can I do to improve:
Have an example script to make sure that formatting is easier to present.
Do research on time and context to make sure that the script is accurate to the story.
We practiced writing a screenplay, adapting Orson Welles’ 1948 novel 1984 from a small extract taken from the introduction.
I worked with George to adapt the opening section of George Orwell’s 1948 book “1984”

A screenplay is a finalised script of how the story is thought out expressed through writing. This includes shooting directions of a story prepared for motion-picture production. It includes the story and everything that is seen or heard on screen: locations, character dialogue, and action.
