diegetic- close up on the actor to show the emotions of the scene.
In spiderman there is a close up on the actor Tom Holland as he tries on his new glasses which are revolutionary.
intra-diegetic- shoeing what an actor sees. Creates the feeling as if you are in the film yourself and are the actor speaking/ being spoken to.
in the breakfast club you look directly at the actors as if you are speaking to them
extra-diegetic gaze-Actors speaking directly or looking down a camera lense. breaking the 4th wall.
American Horror Story, Murder House. Tate staring down the lense to create a eerie affect. As a viewer this made me intrigued and on edge questioning what Tate was going todo and why he was looking down the lense like that.
In the film fear street 1978 the use of a high angle shot is used to show fear and anxiety as one of the actors is faced with the killer and is helpless on what to-do. This makes the viewer tense and on edge as the assumption is created of this character being killed.
In the film Alice In Wonderland the use of a eye level shot is used to show the emotions and despair the Mad Hatter is feeling. This connects the viewer with the Mad Hatter making the viewer feel sympathy and condolence towards the Mad Hatter.
In the film Matilda the use of the worms eye shot shows how the character Miss Trunchable is looking down on you. Being looked down on shows that the person who is looking down is angry with you or disappointed depending on the facial expression. For this particular shot it shows anger and inner rage that is about to he taken out on the student Miss trunchable is looking down on. This makes the viewer anxious for the student due to the way the anger is shown during the worms eye shot.
Indiana Jones uses excellent mise-en-scene throughout all of the films created.
The lighting in Indiana Jones promotes how they wanted the viewer to feel in certain lighting changes. When a part of the film was filmed in the backlot the lighting was bright to show the comfort of being outside. But then when filming was taken place in the sound stage the lighting was dimmed to show a confined space which would make the viewer anxious for what’s about to come.
The costumes fit each character and their personalities. For Example Jones wears an explorer outfit which fits his role within the film as he is an adventurer who puts himself at risk. The dull bland colours that is involved within his costume sets the tone for the adventure and the idea of becoming an explorer and exploring dark gloomy places which is reflected in his costume.
Indiana Jones is proved to use excellent mise-en scene which is especially shown through props. The scene of Jones running away from a boulder in a tight confined space shows excellent mise-en scene as the boulder prop is large and portrayed to be menacing and killing.
To prepare (motion-picture film, video, or magnetic tape) by deleting, arranging, and splicing, by synchronizing the sound record with the film. Editing allows the filmmakers to bring the final product to the audience, without the audience knowing about any of the imperfections.

we worked as a group to get the work done sufficiently and all contributed ideas into what can be done to create the scene. We filmed shots which we aimed to film in our chosen location and we got all the shots we wanted done within our time space.
What went wrong
we could all film and not just one person. We could also be more prepared and not just use trial and error as a way of getting filming done. We could’ve also communicated more. Although, we all contributed ideas we weren’t speaking like a group and weren’t particularly communicating. If one of us had an idea we wouldn’t agree or say anything.
what we could impove on.
We could improve on our communication as a group to get the work done more efficiently. We also could have a set plan to help us film more swiftly and easily without error, also having a clear idea on what we want our final product to look like would make it more easy for us to film as we know what wed want whilst filming and therefore would be able to film it.
