Communication: Being able to communicate ideas to one another such as themes, angles, lighting etc
Risk-Takers: Being able to challenge normal ideas and ways in order to create an interesting film/scene that doesn’t look the same as everything else
Knowledgeable: Knowing what is being produced [i.e: a horror film wouldn’t use bright lighting]
Caring: Thinking about the safety of actors and animals onset and making sure that no-one gets injured
Principled: Having respect for what is being filmed [i.e: if they’re filming about a specific culture, they won’t mock it]
Balanced: Understanding how different elements balance each other out
Thinkers: They need to be able to think of ways to get different shots and be able to modify/avoid things going wrong
Open-Minded: They need to be able to change things that make the actors/crew uncomfortable
Inquirers: Being able to question whether or not what’s being produced is effective or if there’s a better way to film something [i.e: would the it look better if the lights were dimmed?]
Reflective: Being able to look back on what’s been created and judging whether it’s of good quality
