Expressionism fine art attempts to convey emotion rather then reality. In order to do this the paintings are usually distorted and exaggerated to convey the emotion of the artist.

A Film that blurs the boundaries of the different arts.
A film which I believe blurs the boundaries would be Deadpool (2016) because it is a comedy disguised as a conventional superhero movie. The protagonist constantly breaks the fourth wall by repeatedly breaking up the action to talk and tell jokes to the audience, which blurs the boundary of light hearted, playful comedy into you average action packed superhero movie which creates a massive contrast throughout the movie.
