A film that blur the boundaries in my opinion is Dead pool. This is because it’s supposed to be a comic, action, hero movie but however it is a comedy. Throughout the film Dead pool is talking over scenes making funny jokes to make the audience laugh. From doing this it makes the films target audience change from being aimed at kids to being aimed at adults.
A Film that blurs the boundaries of the different arts.
A film which I believe blurs the boundaries would be Deadpool (2016) because it is a comedy disguised as a conventional superhero movie. The protagonist constantly breaks the fourth wall by repeatedly breaking up the action to talk and tell jokes to the audience, which blurs the boundary of light hearted, playful comedy into you average action packed superhero movie which creates a massive contrast throughout the movie.
Knives Out’s soundtrack appeals to me so much because it captures the tone and atmosphere of the movie so well. It creates a sense of mystery and tension, which helps immerse the audience into it’s world. The soundtrack also helps emphasise the films extravagant setting with the frequent use of strings.
A sound editor is a creative professional responsible for selecting and assembling sound recordings.
A sound mixer is the one that controls the volume and tone of sound picked up by microphones (as on a motion-picture set) in order to obtain the desired effects for recording.
Sound Editor VS Sound Mixer: Sound editor is the person who makes the creative decisions with sound, and what is added. The sound mixer is the person who comes after and essentially determines how the audience hears it.
