The formula for a successful films

Films in the box office in 2018 are often follow ups to a previous movie as they have a fan base already so consumers want to go see what happened after the previous movie. A lot of them are fantasy/action films as these are the most unlike real life and viewers want to escape the real world when watching movies. Finally a lot of the movies are aimed at children as the cinemas want kids to come and watch the movies as they are the ones that buy popcorn etc. and that is where a cinema makes its money.
