An example of Verisimilitude in film is shown in Journeys End, this film introduces the audience to a group of soldiers in world war 1 days before the start of the Spring Offensive and immerses you into the Everyday lives of each soldier in the trenches. It does this by creating a war-torn battlefield setting and using audio to create the illusion that battles are taking place in the distance. It also uses historically accurate props that replicate what were used in world war 1 by soldiers.
