Eisenstein’s Montage Task
Intentions: We intended to make a story about a guy who fails his test which cuts to the ocean as his anger increases.
Cat and I intended to use an intellectual montage with elements of rhythmic when he slams his hand on the desk and metric as the scene is edited to cut every second when he gets his results back
Action: M:\Students\Year 12\Oliver Huelin\Portfolio\Montage
Evaluation: This went quite well as we were able to create the montages that we liked however the footage is slightly shaky and background noise that ruins the verisimilitude.

About The Edit
In my edit I used tonal and metric. I used metric montage in the middle of the sequence as 3 shots that are all 1.18 seconds long; this emphasises the fast paced editing style. I used the tonal montage just after the bike starts and it cuts to Micah wondering what that noise is (the bike starting) as this creates confusion as he wonders what is that noise? Where is it coming from? And why is someone leaving early?
