This film ended with the villains of the Sith and galactic empire rising destroying the galactic republic and separatist alliance from the inside using a plan forged over the last 1000 years. There are plot twists such as anikans betrayal and order 66 where the clones turn on their Jedi masters executing them causing a purge creating a back story to episode 4, 5 and 6.
