‘The House’ plan
Genre: psychological horror
Basic influences:
Cinematography/visual style: Dr Caligari (shadows, dark mood), tracking shots, long takes to create an ominous atmosphere and closeups on the characters face to show primarily fear and anguish
Editing: strike montage, rhythmic and tonal editing to switch between a slow, dragged out pace to suddenly a faster intense pace to match the narrative but also shots on screen

Comparative
I am currently in the process of reviewing and developing my list of film clips. I have posted several clips i will use from you tube to avoid hand-braking the whole film, and adding a POINT paragraph to explain and evaluate the significance of the clips and how i will use them
I have also included a range of secondary material such as sources from books and online websites to support my ideas for the study. I have also included several theorists to either support or challenge the points i have made.
I am currently writing and reviewing my script to ensure that it is written to the best of my ability. The reason why i have not yet submitted it, is because i want to utilize my only opportunity for feedback by submitting the best version of my script i can
School montage
I made a montage of photos associated with school and stress. These involved repetitive imagery which was edited together to create a faster pace as the clip progressed: which reflected the emotions of stress and tension conveyed by the imagery but also the pace of the clip. I will export and upload the video clip
Cinematography photo tests
I adjusted the depth of focus here, so that the image is in shallow focus. This means that the foreground is in focus, whereas the mid/background is blurred out to bring our attention to the foreground straight away because it is the only thing in focus
